French Revolution Paper Dolls (Bellerophon Books) - Includes the grand family of Louis XVI and friends and their lovely court costumes all in color, together with dolls of leading revolutionaries. The text is in both French and English.

There are twenty full pages of commentary in French and English and 20 paper dolls with costumes. Just reading the commentary and looking at the figures as I reviewed this book piqued my interest in reading further about the French Revolution. I even tried out my rusty French and checked the English section to see how I fared.

Useful for someone studying the French Revolution, learning French, or a paper-doll enthusiast. I imagine the dolls could even be used in a project.

Includes the following figures: Le Marquis de La Fayette, Le Comte de Mirabeau, La Princesse de Lamballe, Louis XVI, Louis XVII, Lucile and Camille Desmoulins, Jean-Paul Marat, Georges-Jacques Danton, Madame Danton I (Antoinette-Gabrielle Charpentier), Madame Danton II (Sebastienne-Louise Gely), Charlotte Corday, Marie-Antoinette de Lorraine, Madame Roland (Manon Philipon), Madame Elisabeth de France, Maximilien and Charlotte de Robespierre, Louis de Saint-Just, Madame Royale (Marie-Therese Charlotte), and Madame Tallien (Theresia de Cabarrus/Marquise de Fontenay)
