This Viking Settlement (Usborne) - You need only glue, scissors and a
craft knife to turn this book into a model of a 9th century Viking settlement.
The model is historically accurate and consists of 16 houses, all crammed with
detail, and two trading ships, one of which is under construction to show the
Viking method of boat-building. There are also many cut-out figures including
merchants, traders and townspeople, to help you create scenes of everyday life
in this riverside settlement.
The completed model measures 24"x18" along the base and is compatible with OO/HO
scale to complement figures bought from model shops.
